Our MCP server lets Claude and other AI clients that support the Model Context Protocol manage your automations for you — setting up the rules, choosing the ads, and switching things on, all in plain English.

Getting started

Connected in three steps

Get access

MCP access is switched on per team. Ask your account manager, or book a demo if you're new to The Automation Engine.

Create a token

Open MCP for AI Agents in the app's sidebar and create a token. Copy it straight away: it's shown once, ready to paste as Bearer <token>.

Connect your agent

Add The Automation Engine to your AI client as a remote MCP server, using the server URL below and your token as the Authorization header. Then just ask.

Every setting comes with a plain-English guide to what it means, so your agent chooses the right options — the same ones you'd see in our app.

Automations

List your team's automations and see each one in full: its status, live or dry-run mode, rules and ads. Switch them on or off, move between dry run and live, and rename them.

Rules

Browse all 48 cue types with a plain-English guide to every setting, then add, change or remove cues and the combinations that group them.

Ads

See the ads in an automation's ad set or ad group, with names and status fetched live from the ad platform, and choose which ads each combination runs — plus the fallback ads.

New automations

Get a link for you to connect an ad account and choose the campaign and ad set or ad group in our app. You then hand back to your agent, which sets up the rest.

Guardrails

Safe by design

Scoped to one team

Every token is tied to the team it was created for, and can only see and change that team's automations.

Revocable any time

Tokens are listed on the MCP page, where anyone on the team can see who created them, when they were last used, and revoke them.

Fully audited

Every change appears in the automation's audit trail, marked "via MCP", next to changes made in the app.

Nothing sudden

New automations start switched off, dry run lets you check before going live, and changes take effect at the next scheduled check.
