What causes this error?

The website domain associated with your ad’s landing page or Pixel events hasn’t been verified in Meta Business Manager. Domain verification is required for Aggregated Event Measurement, link editing, and to prevent unauthorized use of your domain.

How to fix it

  1. Verify via DNS: Add the TXT record Meta provides to your domain’s DNS settings. This is the most reliable method.
  2. Verify via HTML: Alternatively, upload the verification HTML file to your website’s root directory.
  3. Check Business Manager: Go to Business Settings > Brand Safety > Domains to initiate or check the status of verification.
  4. Allow propagation time: DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to propagate. Be patient after adding the TXT record.
