How to fix it

  1. Check your account currency: Go to Ad Account Settings to verify which currency your account uses.
  2. Convert the amount: Make sure your API calls specify the budget in the correct currency, including the right number of decimal places (some currencies like JPY don’t use decimals).
  3. Create a new account: If you need to operate in a different currency, you’ll need to create an entirely new ad account set to that currency—Meta does not allow currency changes after account creation.
