1885350 Significant Edit Reset Learning

Delivery Optimization Performance

You made a 'significant edit' to an ad set that was in or had completed the learning phase. Meta considers changes to budget (>20%), audience, optimization event, creative, or bid strategy as significant edits that reset the learning phase counter.

What causes this error?

You made a ‘significant edit’ to an ad set that was in or had completed the learning phase. Meta considers changes to budget (>20%), audience, optimization event, creative, or bid strategy as significant edits that reset the learning phase counter.

How to fix it

  1. Batch your changes: If you need to make multiple edits, do them all at once rather than one at a time. Each individual edit resets learning separately.
  2. Avoid frequent tweaks: Resist the urge to change things daily. Let ad sets run for at least 3-4 days before evaluating performance.
  3. Duplicate instead: If you want to test a major change, duplicate the ad set with the new settings rather than editing the original. This preserves the original’s learning data.
