What causes this error?

This happens when your application tries to access an Amazon Ads API resource without the proper permissions, or if the advertiser’s profile has been unlinked from your developer account.

How to fix it

  1. Check your headers: Make sure the Amazon-Advertising-API-Scope header exactly matches the intended profile ID.
  2. Verify permissions: Double-check that the advertiser has actually granted your app API permissions in their console.
  3. Region endpoint matches: Ensure you are calling the correct regional API endpoint (NA, EU, or FE) for that specific profile.
